My books

Take a trip to a modern-day Glasgow where myth and magic still live close to the surface.
The ancient guardians continue to watch, unseen, restless, starting to doubt themselves.
The mortals, knowingly or not, must step up so that the memories, matriarchs, and the city's heart continue to endure.
My books come from the stories we inherit - from our families and from the place that made us who we are.
These are stories of grief and resistance, strength and second chances, love that lingers, and the quiet power of watching, remembering, and refusing to look away.

Tree Bird Fish Bell

The ancient guardian Mungo watches Glasgow with quiet desperation. The city’s magic is fading, and so is he.

As Samhain approaches and the veil thins, four lives begin to stir: Robyn, Rowan, Jimmy, and Anna. Each stands at a crossroads, unknowingly holding a thread of the city’s soul.

If they can face grief, guilt, and long-buried truths, they might just rekindle what’s been lost.
Meanwhile, Mungo must decide whether to intervene or step aside as an older, deeper feminine power begins to rise and reshape the city he thought he knew.

Don't Take My Advice

Self-help for people who’d rather roll their eyes than write affirmations.
Part memoir, part survival kit, part pep talk — currently being updated for republication to include the latest round of life’s curveballs: an autism diagnosis at 61 and my husband’s incurable cancer.
No tidy answers. No punchlines. Just grit, grace, and the choice to keep laughing.
