My Story
I'm a writer, celebrant, theatre practitioner, neurodivergent truth-teller, and occasional swearer at printers.

I write magical realism soaked in the soul of Glasgow, self-help for people who hate self-help, and ceremonies that blend the sacred, the beautifully ridiculous, and the ancient rites that seep into our bones.

Late-diagnosed, a bit grief-worn, but still laughing, I believe in storytelling as survival. I've been a communications professional for more than 30 years, with an award-winning side career in stand-up comedy, acting, and directing.

Storytelling is oxygen to me. I've written everything from novels to wedding vows to blog posts while I'm still in my pyjamas, ignoring my unwashed hair and the chicken past its 'best before' date in the fridge.

I don’t have all the answers, but I do know how to stand in the mess and find the magic.

I live in Adelaide with my husband, Steven, and our very charismatic dog, Billy Connolly, the Chinese Crested Powderpuff.
