Story time

So, if you've been wondering what I do in between the theatre stuff with Tracy, the occasional photography gig, and being a marriage celebrant as well as working full time, here's what I do.

I write stories.

I write stories where the real world brushes up against something older, quieter, and just a wee bit magical.

My debut novel is set in modern-day Glasgow and follows four people who each have the opportunity of a second chance. Watching over them is Mungo, invisible, immortal, and bound to the city he loves. Your success is his success. He can guide, but he can’t intervene, and he's starting to question whether that is still enough.

This book has been a long (long!) time in the making, and it’s currently in the hands of beta readers (and an interstate book club later this year!). I’ll be sharing the journey here as I revise and begin querying agents.
