Co-conspirators

I'm so fortunate to be working with two amazing collaborators who are helping me tell the world about my novel, Tree Bird Fish Bell.

This amazing image above is by Pix By Pedro, a photographer who captures well-known Glasgow locations and presents them in a unique way. I loved this shot of the University Cafe in Byres Road because the Cafe features in the book, and it's exactly how I see it in my mind.

My other co-conspirator is my old friend Norry Wilson, curator of Lost Glasgow and all-round Media Historian. Norry has let me write a version of his persona into the story as a key character, someone who has critical work to do with a beloved figure who is very important to the city today... and has been for a thousand years!

My novel is now back from my beta readers, and their feedback has been gold.

It’s a magical realism story set in modern-day Glasgow about second chances, secret guilt, and the quiet ways the magic seeps through the concrete and paving.

Time for one more round of edits before I start querying agents.
